To reach the location of boating, tourists have to walk downhill which can be time consuming as well as hectic. The easier option is to take the Srisailam ropeway which takes less than 5 minutes of time to reach.

There are many choices of boating packages for tourists to select from. At the ticketing counter for ropeway, one can find all the boating options and choose accordingly. For instance, along with the boating only at the Patalganga, tourists can also opt for boating trip to Akkamahadevi cave, which takes around 3 to 4 hours of time (to and fro).

Akkamahadevi caves are another popular place to visit in Srisailam, presenting a perfect combination of scenic beauty and religious significance. The ticket charges for ride to caves are Rs.250 per person. Ride of around 18 km in the river to the caves is an experience of a lifetime.

Another popular boat ride in Patalganga is the coracle boat ride. These are circular boats with oars, presenting a unique boating experience altogether.
